PULL UP A CHAIR

Food & chai

A homestyle thali, warm chai and the shared table: small pleasures in the Sanskriti day.

A thali with roti, rice, dal, vegetables and accompaniments

A thali that feels like home

The Sanskriti table brings together roti, rice, dal, vegetables and accompaniments in a generous thali. It is food for settling in and taking your time.

Our food posts are an invitation to ask what is being served during your stay. The menu and arrangements come from the team; let us know your dates and any dietary needs before you arrive.

Slow mornings, warm chai

A cup of chai can turn a pause in the lounge into a conversation. Find a comfortable seat among the artwork and give the morning a little space.

There are places to explore around Tapovan too. The team’s café notebook includes Little Buddha Café, Bistro Nirvana, Beatles Café, Café Karma and Divine Café & Bakery. Find those notes in our Rishikesh guide.

Plan the meals that matter to you

Ask about current meal times, prices and room-rate inclusions when booking. If you have allergies or a particular diet, explain what you need so the team can tell you what can be accommodated.

For workshops and group stays, include meals and chai in your initial enquiry. That helps us discuss the gathering as a whole.
